Cultural Centre and Exhibition Hall

The cultural centre is within an IT Campus. It was an opportunity for the team in MARS to break the boundaries, as the client wanted the centre to be one of its kinds. The roofing of more than double height adds on to the grandeur of the internal spaces. A larger volume of space is achieved by the free flowing roof form. The mesh covering the maximum spaces around the structure along with the C shaped form helps to support the form functionally.
The eccentric shape of the building and the play of light due to it, adds life to the structure. The play of light and shadow gives the user a new experience each time they use the space. The location of the structure with in an IT campus and the unconventional design creates a contrast in the master plan.
The Cultural centre houses spaces like food courts, banking, dining spaces and other amenities to meet the user’s requirements.
